Go to Hell with Gracen Miller!

Have you ever wanted to be a part of a group where everyone is welcome and fits in? Well, you can! I have an awesome group of fans/readers that call themselves my Hellhounds!

Are you familiar with the supernatural creature? Hellhounds are commonly thought of as paranormal dogs that have vigor and speed. Maybe they have red or yellow glowing eyes and stink like the Hell they leapt from. In some literature and movies, the mystical canines are invisible, and are either the cause of a person’s death or an omen of death.

Some legends believe they’re friendly creatures, while others consider them omens of death. Cerberus from Greek Mythology is a well-known Hellhound, which is a multi-headed dog that guards the Underworld. Not an omen of death, but still deals with death.

There are a bunch of myths on the internet about Hellhounds, so if you’re interested in learning more, visit:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hellhound.

When I created my Road to Hell series Facebook fan page, I got tired of calling all the new likers “members”. It felt like they needed to have a name, something fun, but something they approved of. I held a vote asking the members of the page to suggest names they wanted to be called.  “Hellhounds” won the vote. My Hellhounds aren’t as ominous as the various mythical creatures, and they’re not omens of death. The Road to Hell series Hellhounds are better described in a bunch of different ways. Some are chatty, funny, and sweet. Others are naughty, wicked, but supportive and always eager to help promote. Or they’re a combination of all the traits. They’re just regular folks—like you and me!—but they are the most awesome group of fans/friends a gal could have. I am proud to have all of their support and friendship. I’ve enjoyed getting to know all of them and I’m always eager to meet more.

I invite YOU to join us on the Road to Hell and become an official Hellhound!  If you dare to enter the road to hell, becoming a Hellhound is a rigorous process. Not many folks make it…are you ready to hear what you must do? You must show your nimbleness by clicking the “like” button on my Road to Hell series Facebook fan page at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Road-to-Hell-series/112564408814796

That’s all it takes to become a Hellhound! Not rigorous at all, but easy-peasy! And no one is ever turned away.

Huggles,
Gracen

Discovering her entire life has been influenced by multifaceted paranormal beings, Madison is determined to defeat the apocalyptic blueprint fate has decreed, but only one man dares to challenge the supernatural forces manipulating them. Even with Phoenix's aid, can destiny be denied? Or will demonic design prevail while they pay the crucial price with their souls?

In a small, sleepy Alabama town the battle for mankind's liberty has begun...

Hell’s Phoenix Blurb:

Going to Hell was supposed to save Madison, but knowing she’s dead because of his failure leaves Nix with only one thing to live for. Revenge. With Micah’s help he learns to use his Messianic power. Anything for Mads has become his mantra, even if it means killing innocents to gather the power he needs to succeed. A tsunami he unleashes on a Gulf Coast city is stopped with magical interference, and Nix is more than surprised to feel Madison in the opposing magic. Can he and Micah set a trap to lure her out?

Pandora’s Box…once you open it, there’s no turning back!

Madison has done the unthinkable, opened Pandora’s Box to save Nix from Hell. And failed. She’s willing to risk her own life to rescue Nix, but she worries about the welfare of her accomplice in the mission and leaving her son behind. Following up on a lead, she’s ambushed by Nix and Micah. Shocked and hurt to discover Nix has become a willing participant of Hell, she’s more certain than ever she won’t escape the demonic fate her husband outlined for her. While in Hell, she discovers denying the emergence of her succubus is futile, which means getting Nix out of Hell after embracing her inner demon just became a very real dilemma…

Heart Ache by: Morgan Kearns

Want a great HOT read?
Here's my review for Heart Ache by Morgan Kearns.
Niko is most definitely swoon worthy!

Synopsis: Gabrielle Ryan felt an electric attraction to her new employer the first time he reached out and shook her hand. Three years later, she dreams of him and can sense his presence when she’s awake. Not that it does her any good. It seems all Nikolai wants is an assistant—and to Gabby’s chagrin, it’s not to assist him with taking off his pants!

For the last four hundred years Nikolai Voinea has searched for the one female capable of easing the empty ache in his chest. All it took was a single touch to bring life back to his heart. Stubborn and determined not to make the same mistakes as his father, Nikolai keeps his feelings for Gabrielle under wraps—except for the occasional appearance in her dreams.

Completely oblivious to Niko's feelings for her, Gabby agrees to marry a man who loves her unconditionally. But a male never gives up his heartmate. Ever. When murder charges make Gabby second guess everything she knows about Nikolai, she’s hurt and angry and determined to walk away. But Nikolai’s just as determined to do everything within his power to keep her.

Review: This is the first of Morgan Kearns' books that I have read. I absolutely adored it! Morgan included excellent detail in the story. She mixed loyalty, deceit, love, hate, and passion into the story with the different characters. No two characters are alike there is NO mistaking one for another. Morgan's story has an excellent plot as well as wonderful "steamy" scenes. The plot isn't totally predictable and it keeps you guessing throughout the storyline.

Review: I read Pandora's Box right after it came out and I have been one of Gracen's LOYAL Hellhounds ever since. Gracen is an amazing person as well as a marvelous writer. I absolutely loved everything about Pandora's Box but I have to admit I am ALL about Hell's Pheonix! I have found that with most series that I have read the first book is usually the best and they all go downhill from there. NOT with this series! Gracen made the second book BETTER by FAR! It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it...even chewed my fingernails off (I don't usually CHEW my fingernails)! Gracen mixes just enough "steamy" in this action packed ADULT book. I would absolutely recommend this book to ALL of my friends (and even some random people in the book store)!

Make sure you come by on Febuary 20th for a secial post from Gracen Miller!

Review:
I was asked by the author to review this novel and to be honest I was rather skeptical about it. I mean really, a goddess? in pajamas? Haha. Anyways, I believe that the author has a very interesting, very concrete story to tell and I throughly enjoyed the story line of this novel. The plot of the novel is wonderful and the pictures it put in my head were nothing short of exquisite.

However, it was very hard for me to continue reading and over look so many grammar errors as well as spelling errors. At some points while reading this book I thought to myself "Was this book edited at all? And if it was, who was the editor because I will NEVER let them edit for me when I finish my novel!" I am far from a professional but I believe I could have done a better job editing this piece of work!

If not for the frequent grammar and spelling errors I would have easily given this book FOUR GLASSES, but since the editor didn't so such a hot job I have to say...

The House on the Shore by: Victoria Howard

The House on the Shore
by:Victoria Howard

Publication Date: Feb. 18,2009
Source: Ebook provided by Author

Synopsis:

This visually magical tale takes the reader on a journey from the remote shores of Loch Hourn in the Scottish Highlands to the singular beauty of Cape Cod. When Anna MacDonald leaves Edinburgh to find peace in the Scottish Highlands, she gets a twofold surprise: a lost sailor teaches her to love again...while a mysterious stranger has plans to kill her. Passed over for promotion by her boss-and boyfriend, Anna walks off the job in anger. But being reactionary has its price. Now she can no longer afford the rent on her Edinburgh apartment. So she retreats to the only place she has ever felt happy - her grandmother's croft on the edge of a Highland loch. With no phone or neighbours, and only two border collies for company, Anna sets out to finally achieve her lifelong dream; to write-and sell-the novel that has burned within her for years. Luke Tallantyre, a renowned Cape Cod artist, has sailed across the Atlantic to escape an artistic dry spell, and come to terms with his dangerous past. When his yacht develops a problem he drops anchor in Loch Hourn. He rows ashore, and knocking on the door of the croft, asks to use the telephone, but the reception he receives is less than welcoming - in fact it's downright frosty. Anna resents the cranky American's intrusion to her seemingly idyllic life. Luke thinks she's an ill-mannered hermit. But an unseen assassin is after one of them. So they unwillingly join forces and embark on an adventure neither ever imagined, including a chance at true love.

Review:

Ms. Howard is a truly magnificent author who writes her novels with passion and love. Howard does an amazing job telling us about the characters in her novels as well as the place in which they are set. She makes it seem as though you have stepped into the pages and are part of the story yourself rather than reading about others. Howard keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end and makes you want to keep reading. Howard makes you feel as though you know her characters personally. She makes every scene so vivid you feel like you are standing there with the characters. This was an excellent quick read from a brilliant author.
